Spiritual burnout is a real thing so I gratefully accepted plans made by my kids to visit my parents in Northern KZN.
This need to serve is a privilege and I absolutely love what I do in my day-to-day however, I struggle to close the door.
My business is diverse. Some people know me as a psychic medium and others as a reader who works with past lives and the Akash. There's more. And that's the thing, there's always more.
One more call to make. One more message to answer. One more booking to confirm.
And here I am reminding others to stop pouring from a broken cup.
So I've taken a few days away and I'll be working a bit slower over the next six weeks whilst my kids are here from the UK.
What I've learnt from the year so far is how involved we can become in making ourselves available to others. Being integrous, intentional and authentic doesn't mean being on call to someone else's timetable.
For me, it's actually about seeking balance, peace and flow. It's showing up for Spirit as they show up for me. It's also about being gentle with myself so that I remember to be gentle for others.
Could I ask you to be gentle too? To stop pushing past life and to breathe?
As I type this, I feel calmer than I have in months. I'm catching up with my mom, saturated with cups of tea and sharing my chair with KitKat (my parents pretty white furkid).
I'm off to make another cuppa and find my jersey.
Sending love as always
Sharron xoxo
