GOLDfields Nursing Care NPC

Goldfields Nursing Care is a Non-Profit Company (NPC), owned and managed by Linda Huyser/Botha and Marlene Grobler. Our care facility is based in Welkom and is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to frail, elderly and disabled members of our community.
Our mission extends beyond providing a safe and caring environment. We are committed to creating employment opportunities within our community, while also providing practical training opportunities for students who gain valuable hands-on experience at our facility.
Our Financial Challenges
As an NPC, Goldfields Nursing Care currently receives no regular sponsorship or external funding. This places significant financial pressure on the organisation, particularly with the continually increasing cost of living and operating expenses
Fundraising & Additional Needs
We regularly try to raise additional funds through fundraising initiatives. These funds are used towards important extras and improvements, including:
- Building renovations and repairs
- Furniture
- Linen
- Mattresses
- General facility improvements
- Other essential items required to improve the quality of care
Although every fundraising effort makes a difference, the funds raised are unfortunately not enough to cover our ongoing operational expenses.
Our Appeal
Goldfields Nursing Care is committed to continuing to serve the Welkom community and to ensuring that the people in our care are treated with dignity, compassion and respect.
We are therefore appealing to businesses, organisations, community members and potential sponsors who may be willing to support our NPC through financial contributions, donations of essential items, services or ongoing sponsorship.
Every contribution, regardless of size, can make a meaningful difference.
With the support of our community, we can continue providing a safe and caring home for those who need it most, while creating employment and training opportunities for others.
