* YMS DAY TO DAY OPERATION *

Sr Leana Botha will be on sick leave from 30/04/2026 to 30/06/2026. This will have no effect on the YMS service- with the exception of on demand blood draws and injections.

All YMS services will be covered by the doctors at YzerMed. Bloods /injections/ infusions can still be done on appointment. Emergency support service continues as per usual for subscribers as well as other users.

We wish Sr Leana a speedy recovery from her procedure!

Sr Leana Botha sal op siekverlof wees van 30/04/2026 tot 30/06/2026. Dit behoort geen uitwerking op die normale YMS diens te hê, met die uitsondering van instap bloedtrek/inspuitings en infusies.

Alle YMS dienste word deur die dokters by YzerMed gedek. Bloede, inspuitings en infusies kan steeds gedoen word op afspraak. Die nood ondersteuningsdiens gaan voort soos normaal vir intekenare en ander gebruikers.

West Coast Medical Rescue would like to share some exciting news with the community of Langebaan and the West Coast.

We have added a second ambulance to our fleet stationed in Langebaan.

This not only enhances our operational capabilities in Langebaan but also throughout the West Coast.

This Advanced Life Support Ambulance brings a team of dedicated Advanced Life Support Paramedics to compliment the Advanced Life Support team already stationed in Langebaan.

These vehicles are ICU equipped and basically brings intensive care to the patient.

WELCOME • SR LEANA BOTHA • WELKOM

Some of you might have noticed that Sr Leana Botha joined YzerMed and Yzer Medical Support from last month.

Sr Leana has been a Yzerfontein homeowner for many years, but permanently moved here in 2022. She has ample experience in orthopaedics, primary care and emergency care.

Sr Leana will be at the YzerMed on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning and will be sharing the afterhours YMS duties.

Sommige van julle het reeds kennis gemaak met Sr Leana Botha wat laas maand aangesluit het by YzerMed en Yzer Medical Support.

Sr Leana is reeds vele jare 'n huiseienaar in Yzerfontein, maar woon permanent hier van 2022. She het ondervinding in ortopedie, primere sorg en noodsorg.

Sr Leana is beskikbaar op 'n Maandag, Woensdag en Vrydag by YzerMed en sal ook deel in die na-ure YMS pligte.

Yzer Medical Support is a 24h medical service that covers Yzerfontein in the case of any medical emergencies.

The service includes:
- a monthly blood draw, blood pressure check and blood sugar check on appointment
- a support call in the case of an emergency.

All for a subscription fee of ONLY R180 / month.
