Bimeda Zambia Limited Participates in the 24th Annual General Meeting and Poultry Symposium

Bimeda Zambia Limited was proud to participate in the 24th Annual General Meeting and Poultry Symposium of the Poultry Association of Zambia (PAZ), held from 4th to 6th September 2026 at the Members Pavilion, Lusaka Showgrounds.

This year’s symposium was held under the theme:

“Resilience, Integration, and Sustainable Poultry Value Chain Transformation.”

The event brought together key stakeholders from across Zambia’s poultry industry, including farmers, industry players, government representatives, and other value-chain participants. Among the notable speakers were the Assistant Permanent Secretary from the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, the outgoing PAZ Chairperson, and the incoming PAZ Chairperson, who shared insights on the development and future direction of Zambia’s poultry sector.

Following the first session of the meeting, the speakers and other delegates visited the exhibition stands to learn more about the products, services, and solutions being showcased by participating companies.

At the Bimeda Zambia Limited stand, Dr. Tom H. Mooya and Mr. Miyoba Sianyinda took the delegates through the products on display, explaining their applications and benefits to poultry producers. They also provided a brief background on Bimeda Zambia Limited and its role in supporting farmers and contributing to the development of the poultry industry.

Throughout the symposium, the Bimeda Zambia team also had the opportunity to engage directly with farmers, responding to their questions, discussing challenges affecting poultry production, and providing guidance on practical solutions for improved flock health, productivity, and farm performance.
