Toddler tantrums are completely normal — little ones have big emotions but haven't yet learned how to express them. As a parent or caregiver, staying calm helps your child feel safe and understood. Try acknowledging their feelings, setting consistent limits, and redirecting their attention. Praise them when they express emotions calmly.

Remember — tantrums are temporary. With patience, love, and consistency, your child will learn to manage their emotions. You've got this! 🙌

Important Notice to Parents and Caregivers - nOPV Round 2 vaccination campaign!

Zambia reported polio virus that was found in the environment in February 2026 putting our children under 5 years at high risk of getting Polio. Pendleton Children’s Clinic is collaborating with the Zambian Ministry of Health to support the upcoming 2nd Round Polio Vaccination Campaign, taking place from 2nd to 5th June 2026. Vaccinations will be done at our Pendleton Northmead branch from 2nd to 5th June 09:00 to 11:00 hrs and our Pendleton Lilayi branch on 4th and 5th June 09:00 to 12:00 hrs only.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to support this important campaign by bringing all eligible children UNDER 5 years for FREE vaccination during the stated times.
