We are innovators.
We are formulators.
We are scientists, storytellers, manufacturers and brand builders.

Today, I am proud to officially introduce The Organic Biochemist Insider — a Pan-African cosmetics intelligence platform dedicated to building African beauty brands and advancing African cosmetic science.

The future of African beauty must not only come from Africa.
It must be researched, formulated, manufactured and globally led by Africans.

Today was a full circle moment for me 🤍✨

I had the honour of going live on NUST FM for the Alumni in Focus segment, sharing my journey from being a student in Applied Microbiology & Biotechnology… to now building an ISO-certified cosmetics brand.

If you had told me back then that one day I’d be speaking about my journey on radio, I probably would have laughed 😅

But here we are.

NUST will always be home for me. The place that shaped how I think, how I solve problems, and how I approach everything I build.

A true STEM girlie… just applying it in my own way ✨

Grateful for the journey. Proud of how far I’ve come. And even more excited for where I’m going.

Today, we celebrate Wyonna-Jean Britten, a proud alumna of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), whose journey embodies the spirit of “Think in Other Terms.”

With a strong foundation in Applied Biology and Biochemistry, -Jean Britten has turned scientific knowledge into real-world solutions by building natural cosmetics ventures grounded in research, quality, and innovation. Her work continues to create impact across the region while inspiring others to pursue purpose-driven paths.

Her story is a powerful reminder that the NUST experience goes beyond the classroom; it equips graduates to innovate, lead, and make a difference.
