Advocates, in partnership with the Girls and Women Empowerment Network (GWEN), the Ministry of Health and Child Care, the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, and the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, participated in an Integrated Services Outreach at Joyce Mine in Beatrice. The outreach provided a one-stop platform where girls and women accessed critical health, psychosocial, and social support services. Through awareness sessions and community engagement, Youth Advocates shared information on Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), HIV prevention, gender-based violence prevention, mental health, and available youth support services. Together, we are strengthening communities, promoting access to essential services, and empowering girls and women to make informed decisions about their health, well-being, and future.

Youth Advocates, in collaboration with the Friendship Bench, conducted an exchange visit aimed at strengthening psychosocial support services and enhancing case management. The engagement provided a platform for sharing experiences, strategies, and best practices in the client referral services to beneficiaries who accessed support through the call center, as well as strengthening the use of innovation in information dissemination. The discussions also focused on effective approaches for handling difficult cases, strengthening referral pathways, and ensuring continuous support and care for clients facing mental health and psychosocial challenges. Through partnerships, knowledge sharing, and collaborative learning, we continue to strengthen community-based support systems and improve access to quality mental health and psychosocial services for adolescents and young people.
