The theme for this year is, "The Rise of Rural Women: Building Resilient Future with Beijing+30." The day focuses on gender equality and women empowerment in rural areas. The National AIDS Council- (Vungu District) managed to reach out to the community of Meyas Primary school Ward 1 Vungu District through the YES games targeting youth in and out of school. Community members moved round accessing various services at exhibited stands. Services were offered from Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council (ZNFPC), NAC, Ministry of Sports, Friendship Bench, CID drug section and MoHCC local clinic. Apart from the common services offered, there was an integration of Career Education as well as Menstrual Health Education and support, NCDs screening and treatment to the general populace. The activity was ALL encompassing as it included man in Family Planning and Menstrual Health and explaining the importance of Parent to Child Communication. Services offered included: HIV, FP, Condom education and distribution, mental health, general clinical examinations, drugs and substance abuse information dissemination and Sexual and Reproductive Health education.

Reaching out to the marginalized with comprehensive health services for the young and old. The Integrated Health Delivery system including Gweru City Health, National AIDS Council and Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council (ZNFPC) visited the squatter camp just behind Megawat complex. Service provision included HIV testing and supplying of ART, condom education and distribution was greatly accepted by the men. Hunger and school still remain a challenge for all and the young people. The fathers main worry was on their teenage daughters who are exposed to s*xual exploitation as a result of poverty. The young women and men are affected mainly by STIs and HIV and continue to spread among them. Later on, the same services were availed to s*x workers in hot spot areas. Their major challenges are facing SGBV from men, in need of STI treatment and protection against STIs and HIV. power of collaboration in providing outreach comprehensive services.

The four-day Sabi Gold Mine Wellness Activity came to an end on Saturday the 19th of September 2026. The activity managed to address women and man separately and then together. Educational talks were held for each group for an hour before embarking on their shift even for those on the 9pm night shift. Services available and service providers included: Men's Clinic, Cervical Cancer screening, Family Planning services provided by Community Based Distributors (CBDs), Body check-up scan, SRHR education, Drug Rehabilitation Services, Financial services from various banks, National Blood Services Zimbabwe, Medical AID societies, MSU, Nyaradzo Funeral Services and dental care. Factual information enables individuals to make responsible, informed choices pertaining to their health.

Saturday the 19th of September 2026 was Bata Shoe Company's Founders Day which was celebrated in the mood of Wellness. We graced the activity with other Health service providers such as Zimbabwe Gender Commission and Cimas. Activities included soccer for both man and women, athletics and tug of war. The employees managed to visit the exhibition stands and accessed the health services availed.
