The Provincial Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) games ran under the Theme: "GAME ON, DRUGS OFF". The venue was in favor of the community of Mabasa Secondary School, who got entertained from Thursday the 27th right up to Sunday the 30th of August 2026. In support of the event, was tour ZNFPC Province offering both Clinical and SRH education through Mabasa Youth Centre.

ZNFPC Midlands Province in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) and Population Services Zimbabwe (PSZ) conducted a joint supportive supervision exercise from 24-28 August 2026 in selected facilities across the province. This joint support visit provided an opportunity for identifying gaps in family planning service provision, conduct data verification, including for the Community Based Distributors (CBDs) affiliated to the respective facilities and come up with an action plan for implementation improvement. Digital Data Training workshop currently under way in Midlands province at the ZNFPC provincial offices. In attendance are ZNFPC HQ M&E Staff, Management information systems officers from selected ZNFPC provinces, UNESCO representatives, Health service providers from selected Tertiary institutions, The Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, and Tertiary Education Service Council.

The overall purpose of this training is to build the technical capacity of ZNFPC staff to effectively administer, manage and utilize the digital database for improved collection, management, analysis and reporting of program data. The database system was developed with support from UNESCO's 03 Plus Program targeting digitalization of tertiary institutions data collection. The system is designed to improve the quality of information, strengthen program monitoring, facilitate timely decision-making and generate reliable evidence to support adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health programming.
