Standing With Our Midlands Athletes 🇿🇼🏅

Today, St Daniels Rehabilitation & Vocational Training Centre had the honour of attending the Midlands Province Paralympic Games Send-Off Ceremony and Kit Unveiling at Chaplin High School.

We proudly joined fellow stakeholders, families, officials and supporters in celebrating and encouraging the talented athletes who will represent Midlands Province at the 2026 National Youth and Paralympic Games in Marondera.

To our athletes: you carry our hope, you carry our province, and you carry the dreams of many young people with disabilities. Go out there, give it your all, and make Midlands proud! 💪🏾🏆🇿🇼

💚💧 MY HEART IS FULL — THANK YOU! 💧💚

I may not manage to respond to every birthday message individually, but please know that I have felt your love! ❤️ Thank you for every message, call, prayer and beautiful birthday wish. I am truly grateful. 🙏🥰

This year, I chose to celebrate differently. Instead of receiving a birthday gift, my wish is to give the gift of clean water to children and young people with and without disabilities at St. Daniel’s Rehabilitation & Vocational Training Centre.

8🎯 My birthday goal is to raise $1,500 towards drilling a borehole.

And the celebration continues! 🎉💧 For the next month, until September 8, I am extending this call to celebrate with me by giving toward clean and safe water. Let this be a month of purpose, giving, love and hope.

We are deeply grateful and honoured to receive the CBR Programme vehicle officially presented to us. This generous support marks an important milestone for St Daniels Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Centre as we continue our mission to serve persons with disabilities in Lower Gweru District.

We sincerely thank JF Kapnek Zimbabwe for this donation, made possible through the support of MIVA and the Liliane Fonds . This vehicle will greatly strengthen our capacity to reach communities, enhance collaboration with local service providers, and expand our Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) programmes.

With this support, we are better equipped to promote dignity, inclusion, and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities within their communities.

We also acknowledge and appreciate the continued support of the Government of Zimbabwe and the Liliane Fonds in advancing disability inclusive development.

Together, we move closer to a more inclusive society where everyone has access to opportunities and services.
