ARTHRITIS, GOUT, BACK PAIN
🛑WHAT KIND OF PAIN DO YOU FEEL?
You may experience muscle pain, a stabbing sensation, or a burning sensation in the back. The pain may also extend to the leg.
The pain may become worse when you try to bend, stand, or walk.
🛑 WHAT CAUSES BACK PAIN?
👉Strained muscles or ligaments; this is often caused by lifting very heavy objects or making sudden, fast movements.
👉Displacement of the discs between the bones. An X-ray or scan may show this problem.
👉 Arthritis. The bones may become inflamed due to infections or injury, or because the body's normal processes of bone formation and resorption are no longer functioning properly.
👉 Osteoporosis The bones can develop tiny holes inside, making them more likely to suffer fractures.
👉 Ankylosing spondylitis The bones may become inflamed and fuse together, reducing their normal freedom of movement and causing pain.
🛑IN WOMEN, BACK PROBLEMS CAN ALSO BE CAUSED BY THE FOLLOWING:🛑
👉PMS & Menstruation Some women may experience back pain when they are approaching or having their menstrual period.
👉 Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) UTIs can cause a burning sensation when urinating, abdominal and hip pain. If the infection becomes severe, it can also affect the kidneys and cause back pain.
👉 Ovarian cysts & Fibroids Cysts in the ovaries can fill with fluid, while fibroids can develop in the uterus. The pain associated with these conditions may be felt as back pain.
👉 Endometriosis Endometriosis can cause inflammation and lesions in the reproductive organs, resulting in back pain.
👉Pregnancy As the pregnancy grows, it can place additional pressure on the back. Hormonal changes can also loosen the joints and ligaments.
