Game day is about more than just the final whistle—it’s about the preparation. 🏥🏃‍♂️

It’s an amazing experience serving as a sports physiotherapist for the Hornets. Seeing the dedication during the pre-game activation and getting the boys strapped and ready to perform at their peak is what it's all about.

The hunger in the air was next level. Proud to be part of the Heritage family! 🐝

It also reduces stiffness, prevents complications, lowers the risk of falls, and improves overall quality of life.

Through specialized stroke physiotherapy, patients receive:

✔ Mobility & Walking Training to relearn safe movement and regain confidence
✔ Muscle Strengthening & Stretching to improve power and reduce stiffness
✔ Balance & Fall-Prevention Therapy to enhance stability and safety
✔ Coordination & Motor Re-education to retrain the brain and body
✔ Posture & Positioning Therapy to prevent complications and discomfort
✔ Spasticity & Tone Management to reduce muscle tightness

What is Arthritis of the Knee?
Arthritis of the knee is a condition that causes inflammation and degeneration of the knee joint. This leads to pain, stiffness, swelling, and difficulty with movement. The most common type is osteoarthritis, where cartilage in the knee wears down over time.

Risk Factors:

*Age – more common in people over 45

*Obesity – excess weight puts pressure on the knees

*Previous knee injuries

*Family history of arthritis

*Repetitive stress on the knee from work or sports

*Gender – women are more likely to be affected

Common Symptoms:

*Pain in or around the knee, especially after activity

*Morning stiffness lasting more than 30 minutes

*Swelling, warmth, or tenderness

*Cracking or popping sounds during movement

*Difficulty walking, climbing stairs, or standing up

*Loss of flexibility and knee function

Don’t wait until it gets worse!
