Getting Older Should Never Mean Stopping Living. Tigers Milk Experience with our Seniors.
Seniors Should Get Outside, Stay Active & Keep Engaging With Life.
One of the things we worry about as people grow older is that life can gradually become smaller.
Wake up. Sit on the couch. Watch television. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.
And before long, someone who spent decades working, raising families, building businesses, serving communities, and experiencing life can become a spectator of life rather than a participant in it.
But our seniors still have so much life to live.
Their experience should not be sitting in a chair gathering dust. Their stories, wisdom, humour, relationships, and abilities still have value.
Getting outside, moving the body, meeting people, learning something new, exploring nature, exercising, laughing, and simply doing things can contribute enormously to a person’s sense of purpose, connection, and wellbeing.
And wellbeing matters.
Physical health and emotional wellbeing are deeply connected. When people remain engaged with life, they have more opportunities for movement, social connection, mental stimulation, and a sense of belonging.
We don’t want our seniors simply to live longer.
We want them to remain engaged, capable, connected, and independent for as long as possible.
That’s why our senior wellness experiences aren’t just about exercise.
They’re about getting out of the house and back into life.
So here’s a challenge for the children and families of our seniors:
Don’t just buy Mum or Dad something.
Give them an experience.
Give them a reason to get dressed, leave the house, meet people, move their bodies, laugh, and create another memory.
Our next Senior Wellness Experience is coming in September.
You can gift your parent, grandparent, or loved one a wellness experience that says:
“I don’t want age to change you, I want you to change the way you age.” ❤️
