We had the honor of representing Avalon Health at the Postal & Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) Innovation Product Launch & Business Forum in Bulawayo.
For three days, we were immersed in a powerful environment filled with innovators, founders, policymakers, and ecosystem builders all pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Zimbabwe.
This was more than just a platform to showcase ideas. It was a space for real engagement.
From insightful discussions on open technology, intellectual property, and ecosystem development, to high-energy networking sessions and speed pitching activities where ideas were tested in real time every moment challenged us to think deeper about what it truly takes to build impactful solutions.
The experience was intense. Three days of pitching, stakeholder interrogation, and technical + commercial assessment made one thing clear: innovation must go beyond the idea stage. Scalability, regulatory alignment, and real market fit are what set solutions apart.
We had the privilege of engaging with professionals like Sibo Muteyiwa, Patrick Maseko, and Craig Rolando Meyer, alongside leadership including Gift Machengete.
A major highlight was the launch of the National Innovation Acceleration Centre (NIAC), a significant step toward strengthening Zimbabwe’s innovation ecosystem.
We are proud to have been part of this experience and to contribute to a growing ecosystem building solutions for Zimbabwe and beyond.
This is what the future looks like and we’re excited to be part of it.
