👋 Meet Nomathemba, our Programmes and Resource Mobilization Officer!

Role: Programmes and Resource Mobilization Officer

Department: Programmes and Resource Mobilization

💼 What I do:

I manage the lifecycle of our projects, build strong relationships through active stakeholder engagement, and drive fundraising and grant acquisition strategies to ensure Global Aid Missions has the sustainable resources needed to expand our impact.

❤️ Why I’m part of Global Aid Missions:

I believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities to thrive. I am deeply drawn to GAM's dedicated work in making life a truly living experience for people with albinism by overcoming economic barriers and protecting their fundamental rights.

🌍 What inspires me:

The resilience of the individuals we serve, and the vision of a society where inclusion, compassion, and healthcare equity are realities for everyone.

✨ One thing I love about my work:

Knowing that our programs from providing free cryotherapy skin cancer treatments to distributing life changing sunscreen and eye care directly provide life saving relief and dignity to marginalized families.

🎯 Fun fact:

I absolutely love singing and listening to music you can almost always find me humming or track hunting when I need a creative boost!

👋 Meet Amanda, our Administrator!

💼 What I do:
I help keep the day-to-day work of Global Aid Missions organised and moving forward. From coordinating projects and supporting partnerships to handling administration, communication, and program logistics, I help turn ideas into action.

❤️ Why I’m part of Global Aid Missions:
I’m part of Global Aid Missions because I believe meaningful change starts with people who are willing to care, show up, and do something about the challenges facing their communities. The opportunity to contribute to work that creates real impact is what makes this organisation meaningful to me.

🌍 What inspires me:
I’m inspired by people who continue to make a difference even when the circumstances aren’t easy. Seeing individuals and communities overcome challenges reminds me that progress is possible when people work together.

✨ One thing I love about my work:
I love seeing an idea go from something we discussed on paper to something that actually helps someone. Knowing that the work happening behind the scenes can contribute to a real change in someone’s life makes it worthwhile.

🎯 Fun fact about me:
I can have 15 tabs, several documents, a spreadsheet, emails, and a completely unrelated idea open at the same time—and somehow convince myself that everything is under control. 😂
