Wellness Social | Under the Baobab Tree
What a beautiful way to begin.
Our first Wellness Social brought together curious minds, generous conversations, and a shared desire to learn, question, and grow. The room was filled with warmth, wisdom, laughter, and the kind of connection that reminds me why these gatherings matter.
Langa had the privilege of speaking about wellness before the word “wellness. She shared the lessons she learnt from her grandmother, whose understanding of health was rooted in nature, nourishment, community, and care. We also explored what it means to build a modern African wellness brand and why reclaiming African botanicals and indigenous ingredients is so important.
Dr Zelu, led a fascinating conversation on “What Even Is Medical Aesthetics?” She unpacked why it matters that your injector is a medical professional and explained what regenerative aesthetics really means. Her session sparked thoughtful questions, lively discussion, and genuine curiosity from the audience.
