Preventive healthcare and informed health choices took centre stage yesterday as PSMAS partnered with the Office of the Auditor-General (OAG) for a Wellness Day that combined cancer awareness, non-communicable disease (NCD) screening and member education, reinforcing the value of early detection and comprehensive medical cover.

The initiative saw hundreds of employees undergo screenings for common NCDs while receiving practical information on cancer prevention, risk factors and the importance of routine health checks.

The Wellness Day highlights the growing importance of workplace wellness programmes that promote healthier lifestyles and empower employees to make informed decisions about their long-term health through appropriate medical cover.
