💙🩷💜 TOURETTE'S AWARENESS DAY – 7TH JUNE 2026 💜🩷💙

Today, we come together to raise awareness, promote understanding, and celebrate the strength and resilience of people living with Tourette Syndrome.

Tourette Syndrome is a neurological condition that causes involuntary movements and sounds known as tics. Every person's experience is different, and while tics are often the most visible part of Tourette's, they do not define the individual.

🌟 Did You Know?
✔ Tourette Syndrome affects people of all ages and backgrounds.
✔ Tics can be physical, vocal, or both.
✔ Symptoms can change over time and vary from person to person.
✔ People living with Tourette's can lead successful, fulfilling, and independent lives.

At Disability to Ability SA, we believe that understanding leads to acceptance, and acceptance creates inclusive communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Let's take a moment today to learn, listen, and support those living with Tourette Syndrome. Together, we can help break down misconceptions and create a more inclusive future for all.

💙 Different, not less.
💜 Understanding starts with awareness.
🩷 Inclusion starts with acceptance.
