Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Anne Urquhart MP and Federal Minister for Health Mark Butler MP to Imaging Plus.

It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the services we’re providing to the North West Coast and share our vision for the future of medical imaging in our region, including the need for a permanent local MRI service outside of the hospital.

Thank you both for taking the time to visit, listen to our story, and discuss ways we can continue improving healthcare access for our community. As a proudly family-owned and operated business, we’re committed to investing in the long-term health of the North West Coast.

Following updated guidance from the Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA), Imaging Plus will no longer be offering elective 3D/4D ultrasound services.
Any existing 3D/4D appointments that have already been booked will still be honoured, and affected patients do not need to take any action.
We understand these scans have been a special experience for many families, and we thank our patients for their understanding and continued support. Our team remains dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality diagnostic and obstetric imaging services to our community.
We kindly ask that all interactions with our staff remain respectful, even when there is disappointment or frustration regarding changes to our services.

Congratulations to our own Jarrod French on being named Tasmania’s Sonographer of the Year.

Jarrod has spent years pushing the limits of what a sonographer can do, helping build a full-service radiology clinic that delivers advanced imaging services to the North West Coast.

While this recognition is well deserved, it reflects the contribution of an incredible team and the unwavering support of his wife and business partner, Steph. Together, Jarrod and Steph have always shared a vision of bringing a world-class diagnostic and treatment facility to the North West Coast, ensuring the local community has access to the same level of care available in larger metropolitan centres.
