I’ve had a lot of questions recently around when the best time is to take HRT (MHT)

It can differ from person to person and can depend on which symptoms you need more support around.

You need to figure out what works best for you 🤍

Are you taking a GLP-1 medication? Here’s what you need to know about the recent safety update and a rare eye condition.

The TGA has strengthened warnings around GLP-1 medications following reports of NAION (non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy), a rare eye condition.

There is no need to stop your medication because of this update. For most patients the benefits of GLP-1 medications are still important.

If you have concerns about your individual risk, speak with your prescribing practitioner.

Day 5 of Women’s Health Week is to connect 🥂

And tonight we celebrated with our Women’s Health Week event 🤍

Connection is such an important part of our health, whether it be a simple phone call, a catch up with a friend, or heading to that event and taking some time out for you.

Tonight was all about just that. Taking the time for you and doing it anyway.

As women, we pour so much of ourselves into everyone else, but when it comes to us we wait.

We wait until the kids are older, until work settles down, until after Christmas, until the symptoms get worse, until somebody tells us it’s serious enough and before we know it, months become years.

So, this Women’s Health Week, do it despite the 50,000 other things you think you should or could be doing. Do it anyway. Your health matters too.

And thank you so much to everyone who came or was apart of our event in any way 🫶🏻

Day 4 of Women’s Health Week is to breathe 🧘‍♀️

As women, there can be so much pressure to be everything to everyone. To look after others, keep things moving, succeed at work, show up at home and somehow still have enough left for ourselves.

That is a lot to carry.

And sometimes, we become so used to feeling overwhelmed, worried or disconnected that we start to believe “this is just my life.”

Maybe you need five minutes to yourself. A walk. A cup of tea in the sunshine. A conversation with someone you trust. Or maybe you need to ask for some extra support.

You don’t have to fix everything today. Start with one small thing 🤍

And please remember, it’s never too early to reach out for support. You don’t need to wait until you’re at breaking point to deserve help.

Day 3 of Women’s Health Week is to rest 😴

Something many of us find difficult, or overlook. But sleep and rest are just as important as diet and exercise.

Swipe through to see what you can do to optimise your sleep and rest and if you’re struggling with sleep make sure you reach out to your healthcare practitioner 🤍

Day 2 of Women’s Health Week is to move 🚶‍♀️

Movement isn’t always easy to fit in, life is busy and as women we often put ourselves at the bottom of the to-do list. But movement doesn’t have to be perfect, it doesn’t have to be structured. It can look like a dance party in the kitchen while you cook dinner, or if you want it to, it can be a weight training session in the gym. Everyone has different exercise preferences and will find enjoyment in different styles of movement.

Find something that works for you and the season you’re in - it doesn’t have to be complicated 🤍

It’s Day 1 of Women’s Health Week, and today’s topic is “To Fuel”

Today is all about going back to basics, because before we look at hormones, symptoms and everything in between, we need to make sure we’re giving our bodies the fuel they need to function, feel and thrive.

But are you actually fuelling your body effectively?
