When was the last time you had uninterrupted, meaningful time with your child?

No phones.
No rushing.
No distractions.

At Making of Men Camp, fathers/ male mentors and sons spend intentional time together so they can return to each other with more honesty and understanding.

In one powerful exercise, boys speak openly about what they want more of in their relationship with their dad. They practise saying it first with other men - building courage - before sharing directly with their father.

It’s simple.
It’s structured.
And it changes relationships.

Because boys don’t grow into men alone.
They grow in relationship.

....Strength VS Toughness.....

I Recently had an Amazing Conversation with my soon to be 15 year old son about Living as a Strong Man vs Living as a Tough Man.

To help him Comprehend we talked about Strength vs Toughness in Nature and how it's exactly the same for us Men.

I explained that a Tree is Strong, with its branches it reaches out for life and love, is rooted deep down and stands tall swaying in the winds flexible at what the Universe throws at it.

It may fall, take cuts, bruise or even wither and die some day but it will stand high in its place knowing who it is.

On the other side we have a Huge beautiful Rock, Heavy in its place, Silent and unmovable, impenetrable with no flexibility but with the right tap in the right spot it can shatter into a million pieces.

As Men we've been brought up to be more of the Rock in life, Impenetrable, Inflexible and if Hit in the right spot we can brake into those million pieces through Anger, Silence and Frustration.

Men it's ok to be the Tree, Flexible to life, Standing your ground but with Arms out saying I'm here to Shelter you and yes i may Fall, even wither and die someday but my Roots go deep and will leave a Legacy for the next Tree to Grow in Life someday.
