Re:Wild With JC

Re:Wild With JC We cannot fix our health problems with the same thinking which caused them.

JC is an Australia-based lifestyle transformation specialist who's spent the last 9 years helping actors, models and high-flying professionals achieve the body they want and need, both in London and around the globe.

Having relocated to Australia with his wife Allira and beautiful baby daughter, and rebranded from Nutri-Train; a health, movement and nutritional company, to Re:Wild with JC; a hea

lth, movement and nutritional company with the aim to also help people to re:set and live less-processed, slightly 'wilder' and pain-free lives - JC is on a mission to change the perspective around what constitutes as a healthy lifestyle.

The Re:Wild with JC ethos is that health and beauty aren’t skin-deep and EVERYONE should be able to move without pain. Rather, health is inextricably linked to mental and emotional wellbeing and daily habits, injury history, lifestyle, hormone, gut health and diet are too often overlooked. This is why Re:Wild with JC is built on four pillars: Sleep, Eat, Move, Repeat - to help you re:connect with what nature intended.

Powerade isn’t hydration. It’s sugar in a bottle.

Kids lose real electrolytes in sport - sodium, potassium, magnesium. Bright syrup doesn’t replace them.

Natural Raw C coconut water with pineapple does. Natural potassium. A pinch of flavour. Zero added sugar.

Same aisle. Different outcome.

The bottle your kid grabs after training is on us, so let’s start making better decisions.

Three things your shoulder rehab is probably missing:

1. Blood flow - No circulation = no healing. If you are not actively driving blood into the tissue, you are slowing recovery.

2. Usable range of motion - Mobility is not just about stretching. You need controlled, active range so your body can actually use it under load.

3. Pain-free movement - If every rep hurts, your nervous system stays in protection mode. Progress comes from building strength where the body feels safe.

Most rehab fails because it skips these foundations and jumps straight to exercises.

Fix the system, not just the symptom. If your shoulder is not improving, it is not random.

Barefoot shoes won’t fix your feet. Time will.

Here’s what nobody tells you before you switch:
Your feet have been in coffins for 20+ years.

Cushioned. Narrowed. Heeled. Propped.

Every step outsourced to foam and arch support until the 26 bones, 33 joints and 100+ muscles in each foot forgot their job.

Then you strap on a wide, flat, flexible shoe - and expect them to remember overnight.

They won’t.

Two rules before you buy your first pair:

1. Size up. At least a half - Your toes need to splay, not stack. If the shoe grips your forefoot, it’s just a prettier version of what broke you.

2. Give it 6–12 months. Not 6 days. - Sore calves. Cranky Achilles. Tender arches. That’s not the shoe failing, that’s tissue waking up.

Tendons remodel slowly. Fascia adapts on its own clock. Rush it and you’ll blame the boot instead of the decade of neglect that caused it.

I’ve been barefoot-friendly for over ten years. Every pair I own is wide, flat, flexible. My feet are quieter, stronger and more responsive at 3X than they were at 25.

The foot is the foundation.

Everything above it - knees, hips, low back, jaw - pays the tax when the base can’t do its job.

Rewild the feet. The rest follows.

Are you taking electrolytes?

Electrolytes can support hydration, training performance and recovery - but they’re not a free pass to ignore the basics.

If you’re sweating heavily through training, sauna use, hot weather, long sessions, or fasting, an electrolyte drink may help replace fluid and minerals lost in sweat.

But, if your diet is already high in processed food, takeaway meals and packaged snacks, you’re more than likely already getting plenty of sodium.

The goal is balance - not blindly adding more.

Prioritise whole foods, adequate water, protein, fruit and vegetables first. Then use electrolytes strategically around higher-sweat days, endurance work, heat exposure or when your intake is otherwise low.

Also remember: hydration isn’t just water. Sodium, potassium and other minerals work together to support normal fluid balance and muscle function.

If you have kidney, heart or blood-pressure conditions - or take relevant medications - check with your clinician before regularly using high-sodium electrolyte products.
