Such a fun day at John Hood Care’s Board Game Group today! 🎲🐉

We decided to give Dungeons & Dragons a go and everyone had a great time getting into the adventure, rolling some dice and having plenty of laughs along the way.

We ended on a bit of a cliffhanger too, so we’ll definitely have to continue the adventure next time!

We’re very excited to welcome another great support worker to the John Hood Care crew!
A little bit about him:
Family man with a loving wife and beautiful kiddos.
His idea of a wild Saturday night is watching repeats of MythBusters and playing some co-op Halo.
Big fan of Dungeons & Dragons and plenty of other nerdy hobbies.
Most importantly, support care is his passion. In his own words:
“I reckon I’ll do this work until I eventually need someone to help look after me.”
He brings a relaxed personality, plenty of nerdy interests and a genuine love for supporting people.
And as he puts it himself…
“This bio will never do me justice.” 😂

🎮 What a night at Fortress Melbourne! 🎲
Tonight was the first of many John Hood Care Special Events, and we kicked things off with a huge night of gaming at Fortress Melbourne!
There were plenty of video games, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Halo, board games, good food and lots of laughs along the way. 🎮🍔
One of the highlights had to be Here to Slay, where two of our clients decided the workers were the real enemy, teamed up and absolutely destroyed us. 😂 Safe to say, alliances have been noted for next time!
It was great seeing everyone hanging out, having fun, getting competitive and enjoying a night in the city together.
A brilliant first Special Event with plenty more to come! 💚
