Make your life easier with these Top Ten low FODMAP Foods…these are foods with either no or negligible amounts of FODMAPs…or a really generous low FODMAP serving size that you are unlikely to exceed in a single sitting.

If you are starting out on the low FODMAP diet, keeping these staples in your fridge or pantry will make life easier, you’ll be able to rustle up a meal in a flash without too much thought.

The list includes protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats and fruit and vegetables..so you’ve got your nutrition sorted. We’d recommend adding a few nuts and seeds for more healthy fats and spices and fresh herbs for flavour.

Here’s my TOP TIP to make the low FODMAP diet super easy.
Always have these top ten foods on standby. They all have no or negligible FODMAPs or a really big low FODMAP serving size.
Add herbs and spices for extra flavour and extra fruit and veggies if you can, but these will give you balanced and filling meals.
Comment recipe if you want the recipe for the featured stir-fry I made with 5 of the staples.
And here they are again:
*Rice
*Potatoes
*Meat, chicken, eggs or firm tofu
*Bok choy & bean sprouts
*Cos lettuce or spinach and cucumber
*Carrots
*Lactose-free dairy
*Kiwifruit
*Blueberries
*EVOO

Low FODMAP doesn’t have to be hard!!
Here’s an easy lunch you can prepare in less than a minute that packs over 30g of protein, a serve of fruit and over 7g of gentle fibre.

Blitz:
250 ml lactose free milk
50g (1/3 cup) Chocolate Superflora Gut-friendly Shake
1/3 cup raspberries

60 secs and you are done!!
Ridiculously easy.
Tastes great too 😀

Grateful EVERY day this week for meal prepping on the weekend 🙃

Here’s the thing… you don’t feel the reward for meal prepping on a Monday or a Tuesday. But mid-week? Oooft! It really pays off.

Having low FODMAP overnight oats in the fridge means less decision fatigue after early morning training.

Most of us know that 2 kiwifruit a day can help maintain regularity.
But kiwi fruit have benefits beyond gut health.
A number of small studies have shown that 2 kiwifruit a day can also help improve sleep and mood…. But timing is everything.
Move your kiwis from breakfast to after dinner to get a good night’s sleep, plus a perfect p**p and get your day off to a great start.
The sleep benefits are likely due to the melatonin and serotonin content, plus the vitamins and fibre.
