💗🎀 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀💗

This October, SW Disability Support Provider is proud to stand together to raise awareness and support those affected by breast cancer.

Breast cancer touches so many lives, our mums, sisters, daughters, partners, friends and loved ones. Behind every diagnosis is a person, a family and a story. 💗

We’re raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research and help work towards a future of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

🌸 Our goal is $1,500, and every donation, big or small, can make a difference.

It was just one of our fabulous SW support workers going above and beyond at her participant’s request 🌭🙌

Because around here, it’s all about choice, control… and apparently dressing up as a hotdog 😂😂

Sometimes a simple question can make a big difference.

Today is a reminder to check in with the people around you - friends, family, participants, colleagues and support workers.

💭 Ask: “Are you okay?”
👂 Listen without judgement.
💛 Let them know you care.
🤝 Encourage them to reach out for support if they need it.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes just being there and letting someone know they’re not alone is enough.
