Welcome to Meals with Meaning, one of our most rewarding in-house programs where kindness, teamwork, and community come together 💙
This program gives our participants the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting others, learning valuable life skills, and being part of something meaningful.
This term, our team is getting hands-on helping prepare and distribute food to those in need—taking pride in every step of the process 🙌
🍞 What we get up to:
• Setting up the hall with tables and chairs
• Organising bread, milk, sweets, fruits and vegetables
• Portioning food items into bags or boxes
• Handing out food items to community members
• Cleaning up the hall and sanitising tables
• Packing away tables and chairs
✨ What families can expect:
✔ Participants working as part of a team in a structured and supportive environment
✔ Building independence, responsibility and confidence
✔ Developing communication and social skills through community interaction
✔ Learning practical life skills such as organisation, hygiene and food handling
✔ A strong sense of purpose through helping others and giving back 💛
