🎒 Back to School is right around the corner: Don’t Let Your Backpack Be a Pain!
A new school year means new routines, new supplies—and often, a much heavier backpack!
Wearing a backpack incorrectly or carrying too much weight can contribute to neck, shoulder and back discomfort, especially when it becomes part of your daily routine.
Here are a few simple backpack tips:
✅ Use both straps – Wearing your backpack over one shoulder can place uneven stress on your body.
✅ Keep it close – Adjust the straps so the backpack sits comfortably against your back, rather than hanging low.
✅ Pack smart – Keep heavier items closer to your back and take out anything you don't need that day.
✅ Check the fit – A properly fitted backpack should sit comfortably without pulling you backwards or causing shoulder straps to dig in.
✅ Listen to your body – Persistent pain, numbness, tingling or discomfort shouldn't simply be blamed on “growing pains” or a busy school schedule.
A backpack shouldn't be something your child has to fight their way through the school day with. 🎒
Heading back to school? A few minutes checking the fit now can make a big difference throughout the year.
