Brock CHC hosted the final Friends and Flavours Luncheon of the school year. A record 45 community residents enjoyed a hearty chili, corn bread and garden salad lunch, and for dessert, pound cake with ice cream topped with a berry reduction. Brock CHC staff worked with 7 Brock High School students and teacher to prepare and serve this lunch. Following the lunch, Melissa Brabran from the Ministry of Transportation presented to the group on "Driving Safely into Your Older Years". Stay tuned for the date of the next lunch when school resumes this Fall!

Another full house at tonight's seniors' speaker series. Tonight's session was "Planning for the Future" with speakers from Edward Jones Financial Planners, Brock CHC, Durham Community Legal Clinic and Mangan Funeral Home.
