What a great way to kick off National AccessAbility Week!

The Province has announced improvements to accessibility supports and residential services across PEI, supporting greater inclusion and opportunities for Islanders with disabilities and their families.

Islanders living with disabilities, along with their families and caregivers, will see improvements to supports following the review of the AccessAbility Supports (AAS) Program and the Residential Services Program.

🎂 A proud bakery milestone worth celebrating! 🎂

Zach recently achieved a personal goal he’s been working toward — decorating his very first cake in the bakery! This was something he really wanted to accomplish, and he did it largely on his own!

We’re so proud of the hard work, focus, and determination that went into this cake. Way to go, Zach! 👏🍰

🧡 A hands-on learning day at The Home Depot! 🧡

Inclusions East was invited to The Home Depot for a guided tour of the store, and a group of clients went to learn about different types of wood, what they are used for, and woodworking supplies. To wrap it up, everyone took part in a fun scavenger hunt to practice locating and identifying items throughout the store.

A huge thank you to The Home Depot for setting aside time for this experience and for welcoming our group so warmly. We truly appreciate the staff for sharing their knowledge and making the visit both educational and enjoyable!

Nothing says Victoria Day like ball hockey with friends! 🏒☀️

Some clients spent the holiday playing ball hockey in Charlottetown, and practicing hard for HockeyFest coming up soon, and the energy, smiles, and teamwork say it all. Way to go, everyone! 🏒🍁

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Griffin Knockwood.

In honor of Griffin, please note that the Kingswood Centre and Outlet will be closed today, Tuesday, May 19, to allow staff the opportunity to attend the funeral services.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the Knockwood family and loved ones during this difficult time. ❤️
