November at Inclusions is all about giving back, remembering and spending time together!

We’re proud to take part in our third annual Poppy Campaign, with participants taking shifts around town November 2–9 to support the Branch 154, Royal Canadian Legion, Caledonia

We’ll also be visiting the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, attending the Remembrance Day service at the Caledonia Cenotaph, enjoying lunch at Little Dings and having some fun at Laser Mania!

A few reminders for families:
• November 5 – Warplane Heritage Museum: $20 per participant.
• November 10 – Little Dings: Please review the menu and make sure you bring enough money to pay for your meal.
• November 20 – Laser Mania: $30

Well… we hosted a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch at Inclusions, and apparently we were all having such a good time that we forgot to take pictures. 🤦‍♀️🤣

In all seriousness, it was such a great day filled with good food, lots of laughs, and even better company.

Today, Inclusions recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We know this is not our story to tell, but it is our responsibility to listen, learn and continue doing better.

We are grateful to support Indigenous individuals and families within our Inclusions community, and we remain committed to providing a space where every person is treated with dignity, respect and a true sense of belonging.

Today we encourage our staff, families and community to seek out Indigenous voices, stories and organizations and take the time to learn from them.

Some great places to start include the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, the Orange Shirt Society, Woodland Cultural Centre and Six Nations Tourism.

If there is an Indigenous-led resource, organization, book, podcast or event that has helped you learn, please share it in the comments so others can learn from it too.

Every child matters. Every story matters. And listening matters.
