For the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of the annual All In For Kids Charity Poker Tournament in support of Kids Up Front Calgary. This year marked the 13th anniversary of an event that continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families across our community.

It was another tremendously successful evening filled with generosity, connection, and purpose.

Thank you to the patrons, sponsors, donors, and the incredible KUF Krew volunteers who make this event possible year after year. Representation is key.

After the red carpet at the Calgary Black Film Festival, I was honored to celebrate the Ranchmen’s Club’s 135th Anniversary - Past Presidents’ Dinner—two iconic moments in one day.

Calgary shines bright as a city that celebrates individuality, community, and has space for equitable representation.

Days like this remind me that even when it feels like everything happens at once, the universe makes room when you show up. Three events in a day, each staggered, meant nothing was missed.

The lesson? When the world calls you to represent, it also gives you a path. Show up. Representation is key.

From the Mayor’s Dinner to conversations shaping the future of Calgary — this week has been a reminder that community is not passive. It is built, challenged, and carried forward by those willing to engage.

Grateful to witness leaders like and the ongoing work through YouthLink to newly opened Calgary Police Discovery Center, grounding us in what it means to invest in people, not just systems.

Wearing my White Hat this week was more than symbolism. It was a commitment — to stand in solidarity, to represent, and to actively shape the culture of the city I call home.
