As May comes to a close, Iโ€™ve been reflecting on the awareness it brought me.

One of the biggest lessons?

Not everything we think is a flaw actually is.

Over the years, Iโ€™ve had people tell me I have too many ideas.

That I move too quickly.
That Iโ€™m interested in too many things.
And for a long time, I wondered if they were right.

Maybe I should be more focused.
Maybe I should tone myself down.
Maybe I should be more like everyone else.

But what if the things we judge most harshly about ourselves are actually our gifts?

What if your sensitivity is the reason people feel safe around you?

What if your curiosity is what allows you to see possibilities others miss?

What if your creativity, your big heart, your deep thinking, your energy, your humor, your ability to dream, or your need to move your body isnโ€™t something to fixโ€ฆ

What if itโ€™s exactly what makes you, you?

Iโ€™ve come to realize that many of the things we call flaws are simply parts of ourselves we havenโ€™t fully owned yet.

The world doesnโ€™t need more people trying to fit in.

It needs more people willing to embrace what makes them different.

As I move into June, Iโ€™m taking with me a deeper appreciation for the parts of myself Iโ€™ve spent years questioning.

Itโ€™s something I find myself thinking about often.

We learn tools for relaxation.
Tools for stress.
Tools for muscle tension.
Tools for pain.
Tools for emotional wellbeing.

And yet, when life gets busy, many of us stop using them.

Why?

The truth is, getting stuck isnโ€™t much fun. And every one of us experiences it at some point.

The real art of growth isnโ€™t avoiding discomfort.

Itโ€™s being willing to lean into it.

To pause long enough to ask:

โ€œWhatโ€™s really going on here?โ€

โ€œWhat small change could I make today?โ€

Because sometimes itโ€™s not the big shifts that change our lives.

Itโ€™s the tiny daily decisions.

The walk.
The conversation.
The boundary.
The breath.
The movement.
The practice.

For me, TREยฎ is one of those tools.

It helps release tension held in the body, calm the nervous system, and create space for greater balance.

And when we feel more balanced, something interesting happensโ€ฆ

We think more clearly.
We make better decisions.
We respond instead of react.
We start filling our cup rather than constantly running on empty.

If all we ever feed ourselves is negative self-talk, stress, pressure, and overwhelm, we never give ourselves the opportunity to experience the life weโ€™re truly capable of living.

At the end of the day, it starts with a choice.

A choice to do something different.

A choice to support yourself.

A choice to put your wellbeing on the list.

Itโ€™s simple.
Accessible.
And once learned, it becomes a calming tool you can carry with you wherever life takes you.

The more tools we have to support ourselves, the betterโ€ฆ
but the easiest ones are often the ones we actually use.

Not about forcing.
Not about perfection.
Just allowing the body space to release, reset, and breathe a little deeper.

Although I had a practitioner and completed my training and certification, there was still a deeper level of understanding I spent years discovering for myself.

I needed to truly understand the depth of TREยฎโ€ฆ
what the body is doing,
Why the nervous system responds the way it does,
how stress and survival patterns are stored,
and what real regulation actually feels like.

That deeper understanding wasnโ€™t fully available to me at the time.

So over the last 5 years, I never stopped learning.

I kept studying.
Practising.
Listening to my body.
Observing patterns.
Connecting dots.
Understanding the nervous system on a much deeper level.

And thatโ€™s exactly why I now ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐˜„๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ธ.

Because I want every person I work with to feel ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—น๐˜† ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ, informed, safe, and understood throughout their journey.

I want them to truly understand it.

Weโ€™ve normalized coping.
But we havenโ€™t normalized releasing.

Think about that for a moment.

Most people have ways to get through the dayโ€ฆ
Coffee.
Workouts.
Talking it out.
Distraction.

All helpful. All valid.

But very few have a way to actually let stress leave the body.

Because stress doesnโ€™t just live in your thoughts.
It lives in your nervous system.
In your muscles.
In the subtle tension you donโ€™t even realize youโ€™re carrying.

So we keep goingโ€ฆ
while the body keeps holding.

This is where TREยฎ quietly changes everything.

Because youโ€™re calm.
Youโ€™re quiet.
Youโ€™ve pulled back a little.

But what if thatโ€™s not peaceโ€ฆ

What if itโ€™s shutdown?

โ€ข You keep things surface level
โ€ข You avoid the conversations that matter

Daily moments of tuning in.

Itโ€™s strange how you can look at your life and think, โ€œnothing is really wrongโ€โ€ฆ and yet something doesnโ€™t feel right either. You wake up tired, your mind is already busy before the day begins, and there are moments when you just canโ€™t fully take things in. Itโ€™s subtle, but itโ€™s thereโ€ฆ a weight that doesnโ€™t really lift.

What most people donโ€™t realize is that this isnโ€™t just in the mind, itโ€™s in the body. The tension, the constant alertness, the quiet overwhelmโ€ฆ it builds up, and over time it starts to affect how you feel day to day.

When the body is finally given the chance to release some of that, things begin to shift. Sleep feels deeper, your mind softens, and thereโ€™s more space to respond rather than react. You feel a bit more like yourself again.

This is the work I guide people through. I support them in understanding whatโ€™s happening in their body and experiencing it safely, and while being guided is where the depth comes, you also learn something you can come back to on your own, at home, whenever you need it.

Because support should feel accessible, not something you have to rely on forever.
