It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend, Bo Denny.
Bo devoted many years of his life to the Mi'kmaw Lodge Treatment Centre; first serving as a dedicated Treatment Centre Counsellor. Where he walked alongside countless individuals on their path to healing and recovery. After retiring, his passion for helping others and sharing Mi'kmaw culture brought him back to the Lodge. Where he continued to make a lasting impact as our Cultural Therapist. Through his teachings, compassion and unwavering commitment to our people. Bo, enriched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
His legacy will live on through the many people he supported and the cultural knowledge he shared. Bo's contributions to the Mi'kmaw Lodge and our communities will never be forgotten.
On behalf of everyone at Mi'kmaw Lodge Treatment Centre, Eagles Nest Recovery House & NADACA, we extend our deepest condolences to Bo's family, friends, former colleagues, and all those whose lives were touched by his presence.
Wela'lin, Bo. Thank you for your years of service, your guidance, and your friendship. May your journey into the spirit world be peaceful and may your memory continue to inspire generations to come.
