PEI Military Family Resource Centre CRFM IPE We offer programs and services for military/Veteran/RCMP families in PEI. Like us and keep up to date with all the activities and events.

Our Charlottetown office is open M-F, 8am–4pm. The PEI Military Family Resource Centre (PEI MFRC), a non-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors, believes that military families play a vital role in the success of CAF Members and Veterans. d. MFRCs are committed to enriching the lives of individuals and families in Canadian Armed Forces communities through positive action, education, and support. MFRCs provide relevant programs and services that empower and encourage strong, independent individuals and families within the CF. MFRCs deliver programs with the funds received from Military Family Services (MFS). In Canada, MFRCs are incorporated, not-for-profit organizations. They work in partnership with the local Commanding Officer, but are third-party corporations that exist and operate independently of the formal Department of National Defence and CAF organizational structure. MFRCs are governed by elected Boards of Directors. How the PEI Military Family Resource Centre can help

The programming being delivered by the PEI Military Family Resources Centres goes a long way to addressing the needs of military families. However, the PEI MFRC will not be satisfied with the status quo. Findings from the DND Ombudsman’s Family Study and Veterans Affairs Canada’s family research as well as consultation with PEI’s military families will be used to inform and develop new and innovative programming over the next five years.

Join the 2026 Canadian Walk for Veterans on Sunday, September 27, at Rotary Friendship Park in Summerside. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., with the walk starting at 10:00 a.m.

This year's theme, "Stronger Together - No One Heals Alone," highlights the importance of supporting veterans' mental health, well-being, and successful transition after service. Community members, veterans, military families, and supporters are all encouraged to take part and walk together in support of those who have served our country.

Lace up your walking shoes and join us for the 2026 Canadian Walk for Veterans!

On Sunday, September 27, we'll be gathering at Rotary Friendship Park in Summerside to show our support for veterans and their families.

Registration opens at 9:00 a.m., and the walk begins at 10:00 a.m.

This year's theme, **Stronger Together. No One Heals Alone.** reminds us that no veteran should have to face life's challenges without the support of their community. Together, we can help raise awareness and show our appreciation for those who have served our country.
