Some projects require creative solutions to minimize disruption while still providing the equipment residents need.

Recently, our Healthcare Equipment Specialist, Steve Croft, completed the installation of a Guldmann ceiling lift system at Oakwood Terrace Long Term Care. By using a wall rail system, the installation was completed efficiently with minimal disruption to the resident's room, while still providing full-room lift coverage and safe transfers for caregivers and residents alike.

It's a great example of solving a common installation challenge without compromising on functionality.

Getting in and out of a vehicle can be one of the most challenging parts of travel for children who need extra support. The Thomashilfen Hercules Small Rehabilitation Booster Seat is designed to make those everyday transitions easier and safer.

💚 A great day of learning at Harding Medical in Charlottetown!

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Karen Hall, MScOT, OT Reg., from Etac for an education session, “Exploring Etac’s Comprehensive Pediatric Portfolio.”

Karen brought along a wide variety of pediatric equipment, giving attendees the opportunity to see different seating, positioning and mobility solutions up close, ask questions, and learn more about the options available for children and their families.

Opening Doors for Accessibility is a two-day conference hosted by March of Dimes Canada in Partnership with Harding Medical. Leading educational speakers from rehab and assistive technology will provide new and innovative ideas. Attendees will learn about advancements in the industry and the premier rehab products available. The conference will also provide persons with disabilities, caregivers/family members and healthcare professionals with current information, tools, and resources to assist people with disabilities to fulfill tasks of everyday living and overcome challenges and barriers.
