Most of the little things we do everyday are done behind closed doors, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t important.

All of these small tasks like counting pills, labelling bottles, and loading blister packs play a large role in your medication experience, and we’re always working hard to get your medication to you as efficiently as possible 🙌🏻

Not every medication can be crushed! ❌

Extended-release tablets and some specially formulated pills are designed to release drugs over an extended period of time. Crushing them breaks down those properties and causes the drugs to be released all at once.

This is called “dose dumping” and it can be incredible harmful and even fatal. This is why it’s important to always consult your pharmacist before making any changes to your medication!

And if you’ve forgotten everything I’ve written here, you can remember this simple mantra: “When in doubt, ask a pharmacist”. 😉
