🚨 6 DAYS LEFT to complete Newfoundland & Labrador’s province-wide menopause survey.

So far, 1,957 women across the province have spoken, and we are incredibly grateful for every single voice.

Here’s where responses currently stand:

📍 Eastern Urban Zone — 933
📍 Central Zone — 356
📍 Eastern Rural Zone — 244
📍 Western Zone — 208
📍 Labrador-Grenfell Zone — 86
📍 Prefer not to answer — 9

What this tells us is clear:

Women in Newfoundland & Labrador are ready to talk about menopause.
They’re ready to be heard.
And they’re ready for change.

But with just 6 days left before the survey closes on June 30, we need one final push to make sure women from every region of the province are represented in this data.

If you live in Newfoundland & Labrador and are in perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause, please take a few minutes to complete the survey before it closes.

👉 Complete the survey here::

https://forms.gle/W2bRvPejBo51rG5CA

And if you’ve already filled it out, the most powerful thing you can do right now is share this post so it reaches women in your community, especially in rural and underrepresented regions.

This data matters.
Representation matters.
Your story matters.

🗓 Survey closes June 30

Good day, folks.

Recently, our friends over at Corner Brook-Bay of Islands Pride were compelled to turn off commenting on their page due to rise of disrespectful and even hateful posts. In light of this, we wanted to take a moment and reiterate our support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and everyone in Corner Brook.

Our city is made stronger and more beautiful with diversity and inclusive spaces and events. No one should be made to feel unsafe. No child should go to bed feeling like they don't belong. Moments like this reflect the necessity of movements like Pride. We stand with our friends, family and community members at large and respect their right to live without discrimination, which is protected by the Canadian Human Rights Act.

Everyone is welcome at Pride events. Pride is not exclusive or exclusionary. So long as you are willing to show up and celebrate your neighbors, it is for you. This month is full of wonderful opportunities to have fun across the City and we encourage everyone to get out and show their support.

For the full calendar go to their page at www.facebook.com/cbboipride/ and join us for the Pride Parade on June 27th!

Fighting for more than a win.

April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month! Our physio Trish MacMichael teaches a weekly boxing class for people living with Parkinson’s Disease. She will be travelling to Cape Breton in May, where Trish will be fighting in the main event . In honor of this group, Trish and her coach are raising money and awareness for the benefits of exercise, specifically boxing, for this population.

All donations go to the Parkinson’s Society. No amount is too small. Please E-transfer: [email protected] to donate.

There will also be a can on the front counter of Veitch Physiotherapy and Wellness where you can make a cash donation if you’d rather.

Thanks in advance for your support!
