It’s taken me nearly two weeks to write this. It’s very difficult to put to words what this experience was like and how I feel about this bunch of amazing people.
From loading and unloading the bus with the amazing Derrick, to the incredible coaches and staff — Coach Ryan, Brock, Ben, Ty, Jacob, Nate, media Ben, Mr. Dr. Chan, Dr. Dawson, Nathan, and Breanne — thank you all. You made the 2025/2026 hockey season unforgettable.
This season has taught me so much, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude. I am so proud to be part of something so special and even more proud to call you all family.
To every player on this team: thank you for the memories, the laughs, the excitement, the stress, and every emotion in between. You’ve made me laugh, cry, worry, and celebrate all season long — and I wouldn’t change a second of it.
I’m especially excited to watch Lyner, Stew, Csabi, Sherif, sculls, and Nucc move on to the next chapter of their journeys. I have no doubt each of you will be successful wherever life takes you. I’ll never forget the laughs, the cheeky teasing, the unforgettable moments, and all the funny things you boys taught me along the way.
From the cuppas and bickies to the electric blanket recovery sessions, the rehab, the prehab, and everything in between — these are memories I’ll carry with me forever.
