Happy Monday all . Wharf Rat gets off to the races this week, hitting the ground running this Fri Sept 4th . As per usual , Water St will be one way traffic and parking on one side of the street from 8am to 5pm . At 5pm , Water St will be motorcycles only . So when coming to town on Fri , take this in consideration to give yourself lots of time , especially when it comes to parking . Also, Sara will be off the Fri but the day will be business as usual . We will be closed on Sat Sept 5th, though you will see Jurgen in doing one quick cut first thing in the morning and closed Mon Sept 7th . So there ya go . In the meantime , we hope you will have a spiffy and safe week :)

Good Monday morning all . This week , starting on Thurs is Scallop Days . We will be closing at noon on Sat the 8th and next week , Lacey will be on vacation and back to work on Aug 20th . There ya go . In the meantime , have a great day :)

Good morning all . A heads up regarding Jurgen and his schedule for next week , July 20th - July 25th . It is going to be a short week for him . He is in for his usual Mon , Wed and Thurs , but will be away from Fri the 24th to Tues the 28th for a family wedding in New Brunswick . He will be back to work on Wed July 29th . That also means that we will be closed or shorter hrs on certain days while he's away . They are as follows .
Fri. July 24th 9-3:30
Sat July 25th Closed
Mon July 27th Closed
Remainder of the week , business as usual .

Happy Friday all. A couple of schedule changes for next week. We will be closed on Mon. June 29th as Jurgen is attending a family event in Halifax that day and we will be closed Wed. July 1st for Canada Day . Tues . June 30th and the remainder of the week will be business as usual . :)

Good Friday morning all . There's a crew working on the sidewalk this morning . Another section is going to be poured today . It all looks a bit confusing , but you will still be able to get in to Digby Clippers through our front door , just look for the "draw bridge" and come on over :)

Good Monday morning all . There's a crew working in front of the building now doing prep work for the cement to be poured . I was talking to one of the guys and they are hoping to pour this afternoon but has assured me, that there will be easy access to Digby Clippers through our own front door . So if you are arriving for an appointment during the day , it will look a bit confusing , but just come to our door that's on the sidewalk . Oh , be mindful that parking and street travel might be an issue at certain times of the day . Either way , we are here :)

Good Wed morning all . Here's a sidewalk construction update . The towns plan is to pour the sidewalk over two days starting next week , and will take place over two days . Here's the kicker . It's all weather permitting . There will be access to the building on the first day of pouring , BUT on the second day of pouring cement , there will be no access to the building for that day . We have no idea of the start date other than we assume it may be Mon May 1st and finish on Tues May 2nd . But once again we're not sure and it will be weather permitting . The town said that we would get 2 days notice as to when the second day of pouring will happen . Either way , what ever that day is going to be , we will more than likely have to close that day . We will do our best to keep everyone up to date on when all of this is going to take place . In the meantime , we hope you have a good day :)
