We are in this together. On my walk with the dogs a school girl was running back home with her backpack. Another girl saw her and asked if she forgot something. She said yes then this girl said it’s okay. I’ve done that too. You got time you won’t be late. Just with a simple exchange she showed compassion and told this girl she wasn’t alone.

I believe the majority of us are rooting for each other. Sometime we need to be reminded that we are not alone and it will be okay.

Have you ever had a really good day then your head takes over and you start to get stressed? Much like the pesky mosquitoes our focus goes to what is the pain point. Using tools like EFT, meditation, breath work and many more can allow us to create greater capacity to manage the thoughts and stressors. And sometimes like with mosquitoes we have to go to another place for relief.

When we are working on something we can get so close to it we forget the bigger picture. We can feel doubt, lack of confidence when we are so attached to the outcome of what we are doing.

When we look at the bigger picture we can see things just a piece of the puzzle of the journey. We gain freedom when we are not attached to the outcome. We are flexible and can adjust to what is needed

Boundaries can be tricky. When you have been the reliable one, the one who does everything for everyone it. An be hard to stop. When you do decide people push back as they didn’t want things to change.

This is normal and part of the process. Behaviours we learned in childhood are part of how we fit into the family or where we were cared for. We don’t choose them. We do them because with our limited knowledge that’s what we did. As adults it’s 100% of to change even if those around us get upset. We don’t have to interrupt their feelings. It’s their process. Some may change with us others fight back and others leave and it’s all ok. It may hurt but becoming you in the way you want to be is ok.

Just as in life parts can not be so nice and it doesn’t have to cancel out the parts that have beauty around. Be present, honor both truths and enjoy life where you can!

Perspective has to be the whole picture. Things aren’t often what we believe them to be. When we are learning new skills we I’ll suck for a bit until we take consistent bite sized action our skills and abilities will increase. Have grace with yourself during this process. It’s part of growth and learning.

What Bings you Joy? What’s something you do just because you love it? I love singing and have sung in groups since highschool. It’s important to do those things even if we aren’t “good” at it. We need to do things and have experiences that bring joy and is good for the soul. Our nervous systems will thank us!
