The Gabriola Medical Clinic has announced that these two valued family physicians will be departing the practice later this year. Please join us in thanking them for all they’ve done for the community and wishing them the very best as they move on.

The Gabriola Medical Clinic has a plan to support existing patients in the interim while it works with the Gabriola Health Care Foundation to continue recruiting* new physicians, residents, locums and other health-care providers to our beautiful island. If you were booked for a COVID and/or Flu shot at the Community Hall please know that Public Health has moved the immunization clinic to the Gabriola Medical Clinic downstairs. You can call Public Health at 250-755-6200 for more information.

Update 7:30pm Sunday Dec 4th. There will be a warming station set up at the church on the corner of Church st and North road that will run tonight from 7pm to 10pm, and tomorrow from 10am to 10pm. If you need a ride GERTIE will take you to the warming center. To reach GERTIE call the Fire Department Duty officer at 250-755-9289 (cell) or if your landlines works you can call the main hall at 250-247-9677. Reminder that GVFD firehall will be staffed 24/7 for emergencies.
