🌸 Garden Season Has Officially Begun! 🌸

Today was one of those days that filled my heart with joy.

I spent the day flower shopping and picked up some of my favorites — marigolds, geraniums, begonias, snapdragons, and cleomes. 🌼🌺🌸

Gardening has always been something I love. There is something so peaceful about being surrounded by flowers, digging in the earth, and watching new life grow. Unfortunately, with my back, hip, and leg challenges, I can no longer do all the digging, lifting, and soil spreading on my own. Some days that can feel frustrating.

But today, I chose to focus on gratitude.

I’m grateful that I was able to spend the day choosing beautiful flowers that bring me joy.
I’m grateful for kind neighbors who lend a helping hand. My neighbor has already helped prepare the garden by spreading soil and getting things ready, and he’ll be helping me with some of the digging as we continue creating the garden together.
And I’m grateful that I can continue doing something that brings me so much happiness, even if it looks a little different than it used to.

For now, all my flowers are gathered, my garden supplies are ready, and the next phase of creating my summer garden is about to begin. 🌿✨

Sometimes we don’t have to do everything ourselves. Sometimes accepting help allows us to keep doing the things we love.

I can’t wait to share the transformation as everything gets planted and begins to bloom!
