After a difficult season, we often say:

“I just want to feel like myself again.”

But what if life isn’t asking you to go backwards?

The ego loves what’s familiar—even when we’ve already outgrown it.

Maybe you’re not losing yourself.

Maybe you’re meeting a version of yourself that hasn’t existed before.

Close your eyes and take three slow breaths.

Instead of asking:

“How do I get the old me back?”

Ask:

“Who am I becoming now?”

Notice the first feeling, image, word or thought that comes forward.

You don’t have to recreate who you were.

You’re allowed to become someone new.
