Happy and healthy birth of my third child. A boy! Mr. Floki Harold Anderson. Born July 16 2026 at 3:30am at 9lbs 14 oz. A whole pound heavier than his sisters!

Born in the same place Sophia was born! Two years later. Dan didn’t even have to go out and saw down a tree this time 🤪

Amazing photos by Jackie- GOLDEN BC FAMILY AND BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHER who is an actual birth photographer! She’s also like having a sister or doula in the room (with three of her own kids). Highly recommended ;)

I won’t be working for a year or so as I let our new family of 5 settle. I’ll be available for doula prep support work but likely unable to attend any births.

I’m up for coffee and walks anytime to talk about babies, birth, pregnancy and parenthood! Message me.

A mother blessing is a beautiful ritual to celebrate the transition from maiden to mother. This can be a literal transition, being pregnant or adopting a child, or a more figurative transition, moving from the stage of maiden to the more responsible mother without having children.

These sort of rituals are missing in our time. We can often wander through our lives without realizing this important passage of moving from one phase to the next, or worse, not ever maturing from the first phase.

I invite you to join me on Mother’s Day to honour this important passage of time, whether it’s for you or simply to hold space for those moving through it. This ritual is open to everyone in all phases of life : the mother, maiden or crone.

We will share our stories, celebrate our ancestors, and honour ourselves. This is a beautiful nourishing occasion to take care of yourself and feel more connected to the women in our community.

We gather on Sunday May 10, Mother’s Day, from 1-2:30pm.

Investment of $45 for the experience and all supplies provided.
