Really though I rarely do any sort of realism. I enjoy it but I always find it still looks like *my* take on realism and not really hyper realism.
If that's your jam though, I'd happily take on more realism and especially anything animal related.

It's a work in progress, and it's part of an ongoing steampunk,roses and lace sleeve.
This client has had a long ride trying to finish this sleeve and I've been chomping at the bit to finish it for her.

I do want to clarify that the side of the finger tatts are not for everyone. They quite often don't heal fantastic, need touch ups and in the future are prone to turning into blobs. Even done perfectly they aren't usually a recommended location. Especially when colour is involved!

If you're a perfectionist, if you need something to stay super detailed long term, if you don't want to commit to touch ups these aren't for you.
If you're okay with just having them because you love them, and you're aware of the risks then maybe we can chat.

I will always tell you if something is a bad idea, or the issues associated. And I will always make suggestions if I need to. However, if you have your heart set on something, I don't often turn people down, as long as you're informed! It's your body at the end of the day, and I'm just here to help guide.

I just needed to blurb this! I think it's important to be transparent when we post stuff like this. And as lots of you know I'm more than happy to send my clients long paragraphs when they ask for things like this.

On the other side, I'm excited to see how they heal, and share it with you guys. On the sort of technical end I did dot most of this in, similar to the way you'd approach a palm tattoo. Fingers crossed (hah) that will help these guys survive the healing process.

It's time guys, I'm finally raising my rate to $160/hr.

I want to start with, I love you guys so much! I have a whole cheerleader squad behind the scenes, and I appreciate it so tremendously.
Even if you aren't vocal, trust me I see the likes, comments and repeat customers. 💖

I'm still willing to work with budgets and give estimates. My hourly rate is my hourly rate, but there are plenty of compromises and options to get the tattoo you've been dreaming of. I'm very aware life is expensive, and being alive has only gotten more expensive.

Ive stayed below the going rate locally for so long partially because I know tattoos are expensive as sin, but also out of self doubt and worry. I know how lucky I am to criticize myself, and worry about whether or not other people like my scribbling.
Fortunately I'm feeling much more solid in this career and my skills, so it's time.

(Also groceries are more expensive, and as tattoo artists we need to afford our monster energy, pizza, and coffee)
