The Focus on Abilities Day Program is Sudbury's newest day program providing exceptional day program services for adults with a range of developmental disabilities. We offer a wide range of comprehensive, individualized progamming that consists of lifeskills, health and wellness education, academics, nutritious meals, recreation, social activities and so much more. We took advantage of the nice weather and went for a walk to Delki Dozzi! While we were there we met a kind police officer who showed us around his cruiser and chatted with the group answering all of their questions; what a fun, unexpected surprise! Back at the program we made some yummy ice cream sundaes! 🍨 😋 👮 🍫

We kicked off our week with one exciting day! We had the pleasure of welcoming Sarah from the Art Gallery of Sudbury who put on such a fun art class with the group (courtesy of a very generous parent! ☺️). Our group really enjoyed the experience and cannot wait to see what they will get to create next time! We were also busy in the kitchen whipping up some grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch and went to the park to enjoy the beautiful day! ☀️ 🎨 ❤️

Our “Open Day” today took us for a ride on the city bus to the Cliff Restaurant in Copper Cliff! Our group had such a blast and absolutely loved the restaurant experience (and of course the food!) 😋. We also went for a walk in the beautiful sunshine and played some bingo! 🍔🍗🍝
