Dusome Dental Hygiene is proud to introduce Rooted Smiles, a Métis-informed oral health and wellness presentation program for schools, community centres, youth organizations, and children’s wellness events across Ontario.

Created by Danielle Dusome, RDH, Rooted Smiles combines:

🌿 Wellness & self-care
💙 Emotional confidence
🍎 Healthy habits & nutrition
🏑 Sports mouthguard awareness
🤝 Community connection

The program is guided by principles of balance, kindness, wellness, and culturally respectful learning inspired by Métis teachings and aligned with ongoing Indigenous education and Truth & Reconciliation initiatives within schools and communities.

Presentations are:

✔ Wellness-focused
✔ Inclusive & supportive
✔ Designed for children and youth

Hi friends 🐾🤍

I wanted to officially introduce KaylaK9Connection Community Initiative.

I started this initiative through my business, Dusome Dental Hygiene, as a way to help support animal rescues while building a positive community centered around dogs, kindness, connection, healing, and laughter.

After starting the initiative, I began sharing little videos of Kayla along the way — and people slowly started connecting with her goofy personality, confidence, and happy little moments. Seeing her make people smile has honestly been such a beautiful surprise.

I’m still very new to growing these pages and don’t have a huge following yet, so every bit of support truly helps us grow.
