Do your breasts become painful, tender, swollen, or lumpy throughout your cycle? 🍋🍋

Fibrocystic breast changes are one of the most common breast health concerns among women, yet many are told these symptoms are simply “normal.”

Common symptoms can include:

✓ Breast pain or tenderness
✓ Lumpy or rope-like breast tissue
✓ Breast swelling
✓ Breast cysts
✓ Changes that fluctuate throughout your menstrual cycle

While fibrocystic breasts are common, they’re often a sign that your breast tissue is responding to hormonal influences.

One of the things we can sometimes identify through breast thermography is a hormonal fibrocystic pattern, which may appear as diffuse thermal activity and increased vascularity throughout the breast tissue.

Thermography doesn’t diagnose breast cancer or fibrocystic disease, but it can provide valuable information about breast physiology and help women take a more proactive approach to their breast health.

Your breasts are constantly giving you information. Understanding what they’re trying to tell you is the first step.

DIY Natural All-Purpose Cleaner 🧼✨

Looking for a non-toxic cleaning product that’s affordable, effective, and easy to make at home? This DIY all-purpose cleaner is one of our favourite healthy home swaps.

✔️ Saves money
✔️ Reduces exposure to unnecessary chemicals
✔️ Lets you control exactly what goes into your cleaning products

Recipe:
• ¼ tsp Castile soap (we use Dr. Bronner’s or Green Beaver)
• ¼ cup rubbing alcohol
• 2½ cups water
• 10–20 drops of your favourite essential oils

Great for:

✨ Stovetops
✨ Stainless steel appliances
✨ Sinks
✨ Mirrors
✨ Bathroom surfaces

Pro tip: If you’re concerned about residue, wipe surfaces with a damp cloth afterward and finish with a microfibre cloth for a streak-free shine.

Today is Addison’s Disease Awareness Day 💛.

For years I lived with unexplained symptoms — extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, brain fog, weight loss, and dangerously low sodium levels — without answers.

It wasn’t until I tracked and researched my my symptoms and discovered a rare adrenal condition called Addison’s disease - otherwise known as Adrenal Insufficiency. I pushed for further testing and was finally diagnosed with primary adrenal insufficiency in November 2023.

This is my story of delayed diagnosis, repeated hospital visits, medical uncertainty, and ultimately learning to advocate for myself when I felt at my weakest.

If something doesn’t feel right in your body, keep asking questions. Keep seeking answers. You deserve to be taken seriously. You deserve to be well. 💪
