Seeing your lips for the first time after getting filler can sometimes feel a little shocking, but we promise they will settle.

Here’s the journey of lip filler, in a nutshell:

Days 1-2: Swelling and tenderness peak. Lips may look uneven or overly full.

Days 3-7: Swelling drops significantly, and lips start feeling softer and looking more natural.

Week 2: Most swelling resolves, and shape is largely set.

Weeks 3-4: Filler fully integrates, revealing your true final result.

That "immediately after" photo isn't the finished look.
