Imagine a garden that isn't thriving. đŸ„€

The leaves are drooping. Growth seems slow. The harvest isn't what you hoped for.

Our first instinct might be to add more.

More fertilizer.
More water.
More supplements.
More solutions.

But sometimes the problem isn't what's missing. The problem is what's getting in the way.

〰 Compacted soil.
〰 Too many weeds.
〰 Not enough sunlight.
〰 A burden the plant is working hard to overcome.

Our health can be similar.

When we feel tired, overwhelmed, or disconnected from our wellbeing, it's tempting to look for the next thing to add.

Yet sometimes the most powerful step is removing what no longer serves us.

🌿 This week’s focus is : Reducing the toxic burden in your home. 🌿

Your environment is a reflection of your health and we’re here to encourage you to consider making one swap this week to a clean alternative.

🍃 Maybe it's switching to Guests on Earth hand soap, dish soap, all purpose cleaner or laundry detergent.
🍃 Maybe it's choosing a simple skin care routine from Hello Joyous.
🍃 Maybe it’s swapping your scented candles for beeswax alternatives.
🍃 Maybe it's trading for non-toxic deodorant from Nala.

Small changes matter because they add up over time.

This week, choose one thing and notice how it feels to simplify.
Health grows best when we focus on progress, not perfection. đŸŒ±

👉 Holm Challenge: What's one swap you're making this week?

We don’t often notice it all at once.

It’s the lotion we use every morning.
The candle burning in the background.
The cleaning spray under the sink.
The clothes against our skin all day long.
The plastics, fragrances, products, packaging, and “normal” things we move through without a second thought.

None of it feels significant on its own.

But over time, our bodies carry more than we realize.

And sometimes the signs are subtle:
Persistent fatigue.
Skin irritation.
Headaches.
Hormonal shifts.
Feeling inflamed, foggy, overstimulated, or just
 not quite like yourself.

Our bodies are constantly working for us — filtering, processing, protecting, adapting. Every single day.

But in a world filled with constant inputs, many of us are living with a toxic load that our systems were never meant to navigate alone.

This month at Holm, we’re exploring what it means to reduce the burden.

Not through fear.
Not through perfection.
Not by throwing everything away overnight.

But through awareness.
Through gentler choices.
Through learning where small shifts can create meaningful change over time.

Because wellness isn’t only about what we add into our routines.

Sometimes it’s also about what we remove.

The products we choose.
The environments we create.
The things we expose our bodies to daily.

This month, we’ll be talking about:
– Personal care products
– Cleaning agents
– Clothing + fabrics
– Environmental toxins
– Nervous system overload
– And practical ways to support the body’s natural detoxification pathways without overwhelm

Our goal isn’t perfection.

It’s helping you feel informed, empowered, and supported in making choices that align with your health — one step at a time.

Because healing doesn’t always begin with doing more.

Sometimes it begins with reducing what your body has been quietly carrying all along.

There’s a moment that happens for so many of us at the end of a long day.
The house finally quiets.
The emails stop.
The to-do list loosens its grip for a moment.

And then
 your body speaks.

Sometimes softly — with a yawn, heavy eyes, or a deep breath.
Sometimes loudly — with tension, restlessness, headaches, overwhelm, or the feeling that you’re tired but somehow still can’t rest.

We often think of sleep as something we need to “achieve.” Another wellness goal. Another thing to optimize.

But your body was designed with rhythm long before routines, trackers, and productivity culture entered the picture.

There are seasons for movement.
Seasons for stillness.
Moments for output.
Moments for repair.

This month, we’ve been reflecting on what it means to feel supported through life’s rhythms — especially the rhythm that so many of us are disconnected from: rest.

Not perfect sleep.
Not flawless habits.
Just deeper listening.

Listening to the signs that your nervous system needs softness.
Listening when your body asks for slower mornings, quieter evenings, more nourishment, more care.
Listening when exhaustion isn’t something to push through, but something to respond to with compassion.

Health isn’t built only in the busy moments.
So much healing happens in the pause.

At Holm, we believe support can look like many things:
A treatment that helps your body exhale.
A conversation that helps you feel seen.
A small shift that helps you reconnect to yourself again.

As we close out this month, maybe the invitation isn’t to do more.

Maybe it’s simply to notice:
What rhythms is your body asking for lately?

The thing about Red Light Therapy is that it’s all benefit and no drawback.

✹Read that again.

All benefit.
No downside.
All health.
Less illness.

If you knew of something that provided this level of benefit, wouldn’t you want to do more of it?

Reflection is a beautiful thing. đŸ€Ž

Since completing our first session of Rede at the beginning of May, we’ve been spending time giving consideration to the impact it had on us, expecting mammas, families and what Rede has in store in the future.

The time we shared was sacred.
It was insightful,
supportive,
& beautiful.

Rede Prenatal Circle will offer a place to gather again this fall. đŸ€Ž
Save this if you or someone you know are expected to be expecting soon.

A huge thank you to .skin.studio for capturing some of the beautiful moments for us. It’s hard to put into words what this space offered, but Sabrina captured it perfectly.

Spring reset, but make it simple 🌿

Lately at Holm, we’ve been leaning into one powerful theme: circadian rhythm health—aka supporting your body’s natural internal clock.

This month, we’re focusing on:
☀ Morning sunlight instead of scrolling
🌙 Prioritizing darkness for deeper sleep
đŸ” Slowing down with simple rituals (like tea)
đŸŒ± Finding joy in connection + spring moments

Small shifts = big impact. Think better sleep, steadier energy, improved mood, and overall balance.

If you try one thing this month, let it be this:
Step outside within 30–60 minutes of waking for a few minutes of natural light. It’s free, simple, and incredibly effective.

We’re sharing more of what we’re learning, trying, and loving each month through our Wellness Newsletter—follow along 🌿

Mother’s Day can hold many things at once.

Joy. Gratitude. Love. Longing. Grief. Exhaustion. Hope.

For some, this day is filled with celebration. For others, it may bring reminders of loss, fertility struggles, complicated relationships, postpartum challenges, or the quiet weight of carrying so much for everyone else.

Today, we honour all forms of motherhood and all experiences that exist alongside it:

The mothers, the mothers-to-be, the grieving mothers, the longing mothers, the stepmothers, the chosen mothers, the caregivers, and the women holding invisible stories close to their hearts.

For the women nurturing others while learning to care for themselves.

Wherever this day finds you, may you feel supported, seen, and gently cared for.
