The program has since grown to include many volunteers aiding more than 350 disabled and able-bodied students each year.

The Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association offers individuals with special needs hands-on instruction in riding and horse care to exercise the body and spirit. RA) began in 1976 when a few volunteers offered instruction in riding and horse care to students with various disabilities. Vision:

LTRA is a sustainable, charitable organization that is dedicated to discovery, inclusion, and learning by building relationships with and through horses in collaboration with our community. Values:

A great live auction needs two things: the right items and the right people to bring the energy. This year, we’re incredibly fortunate to have both.

A huge thank you to Perlich Bros. Auction Market Ltd., the team behind our Auction in the Arena, for bringing the expertise, pace and excitement that make a live auction such a memorable part of the Ride4Dreams Cabaret.

And to JPH Equipment, our High-Stakes Hand — thank you for taking things one step further. JPH has helped elevate this year’s auction by procuring the night’s premiere live auction item, while continuing to find creative and meaningful ways to support LTRA and our events.

And that’s a wrap on our 2026 Riding Rookies Summer Camps! 🐴☀️

What a summer it has been! We’re so grateful to have had so many amazing groups of campers. From time spent in the saddle, to crafts, games, and plenty of fun in the arena, LTRA was full of laughter, learning, and horses all summer long!

A huge shoutout to our incredible camp leaders, Dakota and Grace, for helping make each week so fantastic. Your creativity, energy, and dedication made such a difference in creating a fun experience for everyone!💛

Ride4Dreams is our largest and longest-standing annual fundraiser. A huge thank you to Bridge Land & Energy Services Ltd., our Pony-Up Partner: Trail Ride Sponsor for the 43rd Annual Joanne Perlich Ride4Dreams! Their support is helping make the Ride4Dreams Trail Ride on Saturday, September 12th at Pavan Park possible — a longstanding LTRA tradition that brings horse lovers together to do something they already love, while riding for a cause.

Are you a horse lover willing to Ride for a Cause? We need you! The Trail Ride is pledge-based, meaning riders register, collect pledges from friends, family and their communities, and then saddle up alongside fellow equestrians for a scenic group ride in support of LTRA. Individuals and teams are welcome, with prizes for our top fundraisers and plenty of community spirit along the way.
