Join Jamie for an evening of astrology, reflection, and a fresh start for the month ahead.
A Moon Circle is a small gathering held around the new or full moon, a chance to slow down, take stock, and set something in motion. No experience with astrology is needed.
The New Moon is exact on September 10th, in Virgo. Meeting two days ahead of it puts us in the quietest part of the cycle and leaves you time to sit with whatever comes up before the new month begins.
Virgo is the sign of the harvest. Practical and careful, and good at telling the difference between what's working and what isn't. August was a lot for many of us, with two eclipses in it, and this new moon is where things settle enough to sort through and start again. It's a good evening for anyone who has been meaning to make a small change and hasn't yet found the moment.
What to expect: we'll begin with a welcome and introductions. From there I'll share what a new moon is, what the energy of Virgo, and how to work with this one in a practical way, with time for questions. The rest of the evening moves through a short guided meditation, quiet time to write, and a small activity to do together, with space to share at the end.
What to bring: a yoga mat or cushion, a journal and pen, and anything you need to be comfortable and cozy. We'll be seated on the floor on mats with cushions, and chairs are available for anyone who would prefer one. Everything else is provided.
$20. Space is limited to 12. Call or text Jamie at 250-516-2453 to register.
